Clean Beauty Roundup

Clean Beauty Products

Skin is the largest organ of the body and must be taken care of. But, so many products out there are full of chemicals and toxins. Do you really want these ingredients to seep into your skin, absorbing into your bloodstream? Of course not. I’ve been obsessed with clean beauty products, and only use all natural, organic beauty items. Here are some of my must-haves:

RMS Beauty Living Luminizer
I live for highlighters. They do wonders for my complexion, and they make my skin glow. My favorite? RMS Beauty Luminizer. I love the natural look it gives my skin, unlike some highlighters that are way too shiny and glittery. Not only do I love the natural look, I love that the makeup itself is all natural and toxin-free. The formula isn’t sticky or greasy, and it blends perfectly with the skin, giving me a satiny look and feel.  The Luminizer may be one shade only, but it works well with any skin tone. Clean beauty must-have.

goop by Juice Beauty Exfoliating Instant Facial
Possibly the best exfoliator ever. The Exfoliating Instant Facial is magic and rejuvenates my skin like nothing else. It totally destroys dead skin and reveals a natural, glowing complexion. It’s like a chemical peel, without the chemical. I love goop products because they are plant-based and organic. This cleanser is definitely worth the price, promise.

Tata Harper Moisturizing Mask
Tata Harper is amazing because all of her products are completely natural, non-toxic, and organic. The Moisturizing Mask may be my favorite of all masks. The rich mask will transform your skin overnight. Great for dehydrated skin. The mask also helps with fine lines and wrinkles, as well as overly rough skin. Again, amazing.

Kora Organics Noni Glow Body Balm
Kora Organics may make the best body balm, ever. The Noni Glow Body Balm contains coconut oil and Cupuacu butter, and is certified organic. The balm is crazy good for dehydration, and as it says in the name, it really makes my skin glow. The balm comes in a small size, so it’s perfect for quick dry skin nourishment.

Aesop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash
Love. Aesop. Every single one of their products is amazing, even down to the sleek design. I must say, their Resurrection Aromatique Hand Wash has to be my favorite hand cleanser. The soap smells out of this world (it has a citrus, woody, scent–heaven), and uses plant-based ingredients. Made with orange, rosemary, and lavender, the hand wash really deep cleans without drying out your hands. Long live Aesop.

Dr. Weil’s Conditioning Turmeric Lip Balm
Yes, turmeric. Turns out the spice is great for chapped lips. Turmeric naturally soothes dry, cracked lips, while lightening the pigments in your skin. No dull lips here. Dr. Andrew Weil makes a great turmeric balm for Origins. It’s made with all natural ingredients, like cocoa butter and sunflower oil, and it leaves your lips moisturized for hours. You can find Dr. Weil’s Conditioning Lip Balm in Origins stores, as well as online. And if you’re really crafty, you can make your own turmeric lip balm at home!

What clean beauty products do you use? Any suggestions?
